One Click Sheets Formatter ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that formats Google Sheets. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.

What the extension accesses

• Your Google account email address. Used to show which account is signed in and to refresh your sign-in without asking you again.
• The content of the spreadsheet you choose to format. When you click Apply, the extension reads the cell values of the tab (or tabs) you selected, only to find tables and measure text width. It then writes formatting (fonts, colors, borders, column widths, freeze settings) back to the same spreadsheet.

The extension requests these Google permissions: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets (read and edit spreadsheets, needed to format the sheet you open) and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email (your email address).

How your data is handled

• All processing happens in your browser. The extension has no server and does not send your data to us or to any third party.
• Spreadsheet content is not saved. It is held in memory only while formatting runs.
• The sign-in token is kept in your browser's session storage and is deleted when you close the browser or sign out.
• Your saved formats (style settings you create) are stored in Chrome's extension storage and may sync across your own Chrome profile through your Google account.
• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, credit or lending decisions, or to train AI models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The extension's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

• Sign out any time from the side panel. This revokes the token.
• Remove the extension's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Uninstall the extension to remove its stored settings from your browser.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
